In a familiar neighborhood, there resided a woman in her mid-fifties, living a very typical domestic life, often found engrossed in reading Cinderella's tale. The interest of an adult woman delving into a story typically associated with children intrigued me. Over the course of a year or two, I would pass by and observe her, always with the same book in hand. 

This encounter, now a distant memory from nearly 15 years ago, remains etched in my mind. The woman's unwavering dedication to Cinderella's narrative left me pondering the reasons behind her fascination. As an artist, I felt compelled to capture the essence of this enigmatic scene through a painting. 

The longing to express the depth and significance of her connection to Cinderella had been brewing within me for years. Recently, I translated this poignant memory onto canvas, seeking to unveil the layers of meaning hidden within. 

Each of us embarks on a personal journey to explore realms beyond our immediate reality, delving into the vast landscapes of our imagination. The woman, who found solace in the blue world of Cinderella during her formative years, continues to seek that same enchantment within the pages of the book. 

In the eyes of that woman, the feeling of losing oneself was more profound than achieving anything. Things lose their essence once they are obtained; the real essence lies in the search. Perhaps she had already understood this philosophy of life through age and experience. Therefore, she had chosen an endless blue sky of Cinderella, to loose herself in the quest...
